Benefits

Why people consider trimethoprim 100mg

Where it is clinically appropriate, a short trimethoprim course can treat many uncomplicated urine infections. A clinician still decides whether this option is suitable.

  • Antibiotic for urine infections

Trimethoprim helps stop bacteria making DNA so the infection can clear.

  • Short 3-day course

A standard uncomplicated UTI course is often completed over 3 days when a clinician agrees it is suitable.

  • Twice-daily dosing

Take two 100mg tablets twice daily for 3 days.

  • Clinician review before supply

Every request is checked against your symptoms, medicines and cautions before a prescription is issued.
