About Metrogel® 0.75% gel
Metrogel contains metronidazole, an antibiotic with antiprotozoal and antibacterial activity used for rosacea and certain skin infections. It disrupts microbial DNA to stop reproduction, helping kill bacteria associated with rosacea and reduce inflammation and redness.
Apply to the skin twice a day. Some improvement may be seen within 3 weeks; average treatment can take up to 3–4 months depending on response. Typical courses may also be up to about four weeks as labelled — follow your prescription. A clinician reviews your consultation before any supply.
