Using treatment

How to use Duac Gel

Use once daily in the evening. Remove make-up, wash and dry the skin gently, then apply a thin film to the entire affected area — not just individual spots. Limit treatment to a maximum of 12 weeks unless a clinician advises otherwise.

  1. Cleanse the skin

Remove all make-up. Wash the affected area well, rinse with warm water and pat dry gently.

  2. Apply a fingertip amount

For the face only, use a fingertip of gel (from fingertip to the first crease). For face and back, use about two and a half fingertips in total.

  3. Cover the whole affected area

Put a thin film on the entire acne-prone area, then wash your hands.

  4. Manage dryness

If you get a lot of dryness or peeling, use an oil-free, fragrance-free, hypoallergenic moisturiser, apply less often, or pause briefly so your skin can adjust. Daily use is needed for best effect.
