How to use Canesten Thrush Duo
Take the fluconazole capsule as a single dose with water (no alcohol). Apply the clotrimazole cream thinly to external areas 2 or 3 times a day as directed.

Swallow the fluconazole 150mg capsule whole with water. Do not take with alcohol.

Apply the cream externally
Use clotrimazole 2% cream thinly around the vulva and surrounding skin 2 or 3 times a day.

- Stomach pain, diarrhoea, nausea or vomiting Common tummy side effects. Seek advice if they are severe or do not settle.
- Rash Stop and seek medical advice if you develop a rash or signs of allergy.
- Abdominal discomfort or pelvic pain Can occur with vaginal treatments. Seek advice if pain is severe.
- Genital peeling or local irritation The treated area may feel sore or peel. Stop and seek advice if this is severe.
