Introduction
Everyday health, reviewed online
Sinusitis, migraine, hayfever, sore throat, cold and flu symptoms, oral thrush, headaches, ear infections, allergies, arthritis pain and vitamins — these are common reasons people look for a private pharmacy consultation.
An online request can be appropriate when symptoms are typical. It is not for emergencies, breathing difficulty, very high fever, or symptoms that are getting rapidly worse.
Open the condition that matches. Each page explains who it may suit and when to seek other care.

Eligibility
Who these treatments are for
These pages are for adults in the UK who want a private, clinician-reviewed consultation for everyday health symptoms. A clinician decides whether treatment is suitable. The lists below are a guide only.
May be suitable if
- You are an adult and can complete an online consultation accurately
- Your symptoms match one of the listed conditions
- You can provide your medical history and current medicines
- You understand that a clinician may decline treatment if it is not appropriate
Seek other care if
- You have severe, sudden or worsening symptoms that need urgent assessment
- You are pregnant, breastfeeding, or treating a child — unless a page says otherwise
- You need an examination, test or face-to-face review that cannot be done online
- This is an emergency — go to A&E
If you are unsure, contact us or use NHS 111. Online treatment is not a substitute for emergency care.

Frequently asked questions

Can I get antibiotics for a cold?
Colds are usually viral. A clinician will only prescribe antibiotics if they are appropriate. Do not expect antibiotics for every sore throat or cough.
When should I go to A&E?
Use emergency care for severe breathing problems, chest pain, a sudden severe headache, confusion, a non-blanching rash, or if you are very unwell.
Do you treat children?
Most online pathways are for adults. Check the individual treatment page or contact us.
How is medicine delivered?
If prescribed, our pharmacy dispenses it and sends it in discreet UK packaging.
