How to complain
You can complain about a consultation, a prescription decision, dispensing, delivery of pharmacy services, or how we have handled your information.
- Email enquiries@privatepharmacycare.co.uk with “Complaint” in the subject line.
- Call 0800 254 5786 (7 am–8 pm every day).
- Write to the address below.
- Use the Contact Us form and say that you want to make a complaint.
Please include your name, the email or phone number we should use, your order or consultation reference if you have one, what happened, when it happened, and what you would like us to do.
What happens next
- We acknowledge your complaint within 5 business days.
- The pharmacy team reviews the records and, where needed, the superintendent pharmacist oversees the response.
- We provide a substantive response as soon as possible, including what we found and what we will do.
If we need more information from you, we will ask for it before we finish the review.
Returns and medicines
If the issue is a damaged, incorrect or missing parcel, start with Returns Policy. Contact us within 7 days of delivery and do not return medicines without authorisation.
Professional services, such as a consultation that has already been assessed, are generally non-refundable once provided. That does not stop you raising a complaint about how the service was delivered.
If you remain dissatisfied
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may raise a concern with the GPhC. The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) can look at concerns about a pharmacist, pharmacy technician or registered pharmacy.
If your complaint is about how we used your personal information, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). Our Privacy Policy explains how we process data.
